Raphael Widmann completed his bachelor's degree in "Production and Automation" and his master's degree in "Mechatronics and Precision Engineering" at the Munich University of Applied Sciences. During his studies, he was able to demonstrate his technical expertise in production environments at a medium-sized company in the field of packaging and filling technology, as well as at a renowned automotive supplier.

He is active in all areas of patent prosecution, including conducting searches, drafting applications, and responding to office actions. He is also involved in opposition and opposition appeal proceedings.

In November 2021, he began his training as a representative before the European Patent Office, which he continued at Kroher Strobel Rechtsanwälte until May 2025.

Since June 2025 he has been working as a patent engineer at SKM-IP.
