Isabelle Waldschmidt studied mechanical engineering at FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg and completed her master's degree in June 2020. During her studies, she gained extensive practical experience in several leading companies in the automotive and mechanical engineering industries in the areas of research, development and production planning.

It is active in all fields of patent grant proceedings. This includes conducting searches, drafting applications and responding to official communications. She is also involved in opposition proceedings.
She began her training as a patent attorney at BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in September 2020.

She has been working as a patent engineer at SKM-IP since January 2023.
