Payroll accounting
• Preparing monthly payroll figures for transfer to external accounting
- Maintenance of personnel master data and management of absences
- Preparation of certificates and notifications (tax office, health insurance companies, social security institutions, pension insurance, etc.)
- Contact person for wage-related questions from our employees
- Cooperation with external bodies such as tax consultants or authorities
Financial accounting
• Checking and maintaining our accounts receivable in parallel with the external financial accountant and performing the corresponding reconciliation work
• Checking incoming and outgoing invoices
• Entering our incoming invoices into DATEV Unternehmen online
• Checking credit card statements
• Payment instructions for the business account (domestic and international) and, if necessary, creation of corresponding payment notifications
• Checking and recording incoming payments
• Dunning process (accounts receivable and accounts payable)
• Preparation of evaluations/overviews
• Management of our official accounts and reconciliation with our outgoing invoices
- Assistance with monthly and annual financial statements
• Close cooperation with partners, external agencies, tax advisors, and authorities
You offer SKM-IP:
- Completed commercial training (you are also welcome as a career changer with many years of professional experience)
• In-depth knowledge of income tax and social security law
• Ideally, confident use of DATEV Unternehmen Online
- Independent, structured and reliable way of working
- Confidential handling of sensitive data
- Experience with digital tools and processes in a patent law firm is an advantage
