UNION-IP Round Table on 28.02.2025

The UNION-IP Winter Round Table 2025 will take place on February 28, 2025 in the conference room of the DPMA Forum in Munich.‍

Two panels will analyze the topics of claim interpretation and bifurcation in various patent forums, taking into account the latest developments in case law.

The first panel is dedicated to one of the hottest topics in patent litigation: claim interpretation. With news from the European Patent Office on the G1/24 submission as well as new decisions from the Unified Patent Court, understanding how claim interpretations vary in different jurisdictions is becoming increasingly important. This panel will offer incisive insights into how these differences affect strategies and outcomes and provide a fresh perspective on what patent professionals can expect in this dynamic landscape.
